How to use profiles (and a Kids profile)

Up to 6 profiles, each with its own favourites, Continue Watching, hidden content and arrangement.

Step by step

Add a profile
Settings › Profiles › “Add profile”. Type a name (up to 20 letters), choose a picture and press “Save”.

Switch profile
On Home, press ▲ to your profile picture at the top right and press OK, then choose a profile. “Switching to …” takes a few seconds.

Ask at start
Settings › Profiles › “Ask who’s watching” shows “Who’s watching?” every time the app opens.

Protect a profile
Edit the profile and turn on “Profile PIN” (4 digits, typed twice).

Make a Kids profile
Edit the profile and turn on “Kids profile”. If you have no parents’ PIN yet, you are asked to create one. A Kids profile shows only content for children — locked and adult categories never appear, and Settings asks for the parents’ PIN.

Each profile keeps its own favourites, Continue Watching, recent channels and searches, hidden content, order and names.
Playlists, downloads and recordings are shared by every profile.
Leaving a Kids profile for another one asks for the parents’ PIN.
The parents’ PIN is the same PIN as Settings › Parental Controls.

⚠“Delete profile” is not offered for Main or for the profile you are watching — switch to another profile first.
