Manage content: hide, reorder and rename categories and channels
Hide whole countries or single channels, put your categories and channels in your own order, and give them your own names — for your profile only.
Step by step
- 1
Open Manage content
Settings › Playlists › “Manage content”. The sections are on the left: Countries, Live TV, Movies, Series and My changes.
- 2
Hide what you never watch
Press OK on any row to hide or show it. Hiding a country hides its channels, movies and series everywhere — including new ones your provider adds later. “Channels ›” (or “Movies ›” / “Series ›”) opens a category to hide single channels, movies or series.
- 3
Open the options
Hold OK (or press OK on ⋮) on a category or a channel: “Move”, “Move to top”, “Move to bottom”, “Rename”, “Hide”, and “Put back in its place” or “Use the original name” after a change.
- 4
Move it exactly where you want
Choose “Move”: the row lifts. ▲ ▼ move it one place, CH+ / CH− ten places (in a channel grid ◀ ▶ one place and ▲ ▼ one row). Press OK to drop it, BACK to cancel.
- 5
Rename
Choose “Rename”, type the new name on the keyboard (or by voice) and press “Save”. “Use the original name” brings the provider’s name back.
- 6
Countries first
In Countries, hold OK on a country and choose “Show first”: its categories move to the top of Live TV, Movies and Series. Several countries can be first, in your order.
- 7
Undo anything
My changes lists every move, name and hidden item — press OK on one to undo it. “Reset everything” starts over.
- 8
Leave
Press BACK. If you changed something, “Apply your changes?” appears: “Apply” updates the rest of the app; “Discard” puts everything back as it was when you opened the screen.
Tips & tricks
- Shortcut from Live TV: hold OK on a category or channel for “Move to top”, “Rename” and “Hide”. “More in Manage content” opens it with that category already lifted, ready to move.
- Your order and names show everywhere: Live TV, the TV Guide, search and the player. Search finds a renamed channel by both names, and refreshing the playlist keeps your changes.
- “Sort A–Z” puts a list in alphabetical order; “Reset order” goes back to your provider’s order.
- Every profile has its own arrangement — perfect for one TV shared by the family. Nothing is deleted and nothing changes in your subscription.
- The first move in a long list takes a few seconds, once. After that, moves are instant.
- In Movies and Series you can hide single titles; reordering and renaming are for categories and live channels.
If something goes wrong
- ⚠A channel you hid still shows up: check you are on the same profile you changed it in.
