How to set a parental PIN and lock categories
Ask for a PIN before a category opens, hide locked categories and lock Settings.
Step by step

Set a PIN
Settings › Parental Controls › “Set PIN”. Type 4 digits, then again to confirm.

Turn it on
Turn on “Parental controls”.

Lock categories
Open “Locked categories” and turn on the switch next to each Live TV category to protect.

Hide or lock more
“Hide locked categories” removes them from the list instead of asking for the PIN. “Lock Settings” asks for the PIN before Settings opens.
Tips & tricks
- A category opened with the PIN stays open until the app restarts or the profile changes.
- For children, a Kids profile is the safest choice: locked and adult categories disappear from every screen of that profile.
- There is no way to recover a forgotten PIN from the app — choose one you’ll remember.
