Movie and episode player: skip, audio, subtitles and picture size

Every remote button while watching a movie or an episode.

Step by step

1. 1

   Show the controls

   Press any arrow or OK while watching. The first press only shows the controls — it doesn’t pause.

2. 2

   Pause and skip

   With the controls on screen, press OK on Play/Pause. Press ▲ to reach the progress bar, then ◀ ▶ to go back or forward 10 seconds — quick presses add up.

3. 3

   Audio language

   Highlight “Audio” and press OK to choose another audio track, when the movie has more than one.

   Subtitles

   Highlight “Subtitles”, press OK and choose a language, or “Off”.

5. 5

   Picture size

   Each press on “Aspect” switches between Fit, Zoom and Stretch.

6. 6

   Restart or leave

   ⏮ starts the title from the beginning. BACK hides the controls; press BACK again to leave — your place is saved.

Tips & tricks

• Remote media keys work at any time: PLAY/PAUSE, FF forward 10 s and RW back 10 s.
• Choose your usual languages once in Settings › Player › “Preferred audio language” and “Preferred subtitle language”, and the default picture size in “Default aspect ratio”.
• A downloaded copy plays first, even when you are online — no buffering.

If something goes wrong

• ⚠“Can’t play this movie”: use ◀ ▶ to choose “Retry” or “Back”. The message under the title explains what the provider answered.
• ⚠“No subtitles in this stream” or “No alternate audio tracks”: this copy of the title has none — your provider may offer another version.
