How to update 1ClickTV

The app updates itself — here is what you’ll see.

Step by step

1. 1

   The update window

   When a new version is ready, “NEW UPDATE AVAILABLE” shows what’s new. Press OK on “Update Now” (or “Later”). It never interrupts a channel or a recording.

2. 2

   Download and check

   The app downloads the update and checks that it is genuine. Keep the app open until “UPDATE READY TO INSTALL”.

3. 3

   Install

   Press “Install Now” and confirm in Android’s installer. The app reopens on the new version with everything kept.

4. 4

   First time only

   If you see “PERMISSION REQUIRED”, press “Open Settings”, allow 1ClickTV to install apps, then come back.

Tips & tricks

• Your playlists, favourites, history, recordings, downloads and settings are all kept.
• Using a very old version (before 1.3)? Install the new one once with Downloader code 5012629 — after that it updates itself.
