How to watch, rename and delete your recordings

The DVR screen: play a recording, change a schedule, retry a failed one and keep an eye on storage.

Step by step

   Open DVR

   On Home, go down to the bottom row and press OK on “DVR”. You can also use Settings › DVR / Recordings › “Manage recordings”.

   Filter

   Press ▲ to reach the chips — All, Recording, Scheduled, Completed, Failed — and move with ◀ ▶; the list changes at once. Press ▼ to return to the list.

   Open a recording’s options

   Press OK on a recording. Completed: “Play Recording”, “Rename”, “View Details”, “Delete”. Scheduled: “Edit Recording Time” or “Cancel Scheduled Recording”. Failed: “Retry Recording”.

   Watch it

   Choose “Play Recording”. OK pauses, ◀ ▶ skip 10 seconds, RW / FF skip 30 seconds, ▼ opens rename / delete / details. The app remembers where you stopped.

   Check your storage

   Settings › DVR / Recordings › “Storage details” shows used and free space and roughly how many hours you can still record.

Tips & tricks

• “Delete” removes a recording at once, without asking — double-check before pressing OK.
• “Needs relink” means the channel changed after a playlist update: fix it in Settings › Playlists › “Playlist Repair”.
• Recordings are kept when you delete a playlist.

If something goes wrong

• ⚠“Can’t play this recording” / “This recording file is no longer available”: the file was deleted from the device.
• ⚠“Missed”: the TV was off or the app was closed for the whole time slot. A recording whose time has already started is started as soon as the app runs again.
